Workshops

              * SDC offer workshops for Independent artist, teaching them things that they need to know about the music industry, how to get air time, how to get a demo done, copyrights of materials, publishing rights, etc.... 

 

 

Youth Workshops

           *SDC provides workshops for youth  4-18 years of age. We teach the youth how to get involved with various area of arts. Whether it is an audition for a live stage play, or the creation of a CD project for radio air play. We nuture them from beginning to end.  Once that area of talent is explored, it is the goal of SDC to expose the talent of the youth by providing an audience for them to display their talents. 

 

 

Senior's Corner

        * In the second phase of SDC, the seniors will benefit from the various programs to be offered. Seniors will have the opportunity to nuture their gifts and ability in the area of arts. Once a series of workshops are completed the seniors will display their talents for a provided audience.

 

Contest

         * SDC will sponsor various concerts through out the year to display the talents of the youth in the community and surrounding communities. These youth will compete for prizes that will help to encourage them to advance to the next level in their skills.

 

Mentoring

      *SDC offers life long goal with the mentoring program and teach youth how to become model citizens for today's society.  Various educational programs are designed to enhance the knowledge of today's youth and help them with assessments and test that the Illinois schools require.
